FAQ

Questions departments actually ask.

If you don't see your question here, reach out directly. A founder will reply within one business day.

What is NERIS, and are you compliant?

NERIS is the federal incident reporting standard that replaced NFIRS. Reskyr is built NERIS-native from the ground up, not retrofitted onto legacy NFIRS architecture.

Is it really unlimited users?

Yes. Every tier includes every active member, officers, firefighters, and probationary members alike, with no per-seat charge.

Why isn't pricing listed on the site?

We're still finalizing rates ahead of launch, so rather than post numbers that might not fit every department, we'd rather talk through your station count directly. What's already settled and won't change: flat rate per department, never per seat, never per incident. See how pricing works or request a quote.

Can we import our historical NFIRS data?

Reskyr supports historical data onboarding, including NFIRS import. Reach out and we'll walk your department through the process.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. A dedicated mobile app for members and a tablet-optimized apparatus view for the truck.

We're a non-transport department. Does Reskyr still fit?

Yes. Reskyr is built primarily for non-transporting fire, rescue, and hazmat departments, with basic EMS-assist support. Full transporting NEMSIS ePCR is out of scope by design.

What is Reskyr's software and business model?

Reskyr provides secure, cloud-based B2B operational management and safety compliance software. We collect recurring software licensing fees from business entities and provide audit-ready reporting solutions. We do not engage in retail point-of-sale commerce or distribute physical goods.
